The rescEU Emergency Medical Teams (EMT) project is an initiative under the Union Civil Protection Mechanism aimed at strengthening Europe’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies. Eight countries — Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, and Türkiye — are collaborating to establish and maintain 21 specialised medical teams. The project runs from December 2022 to September 2026. Building on the experience of the European Modular Field Hospital (EUMFH) project, the goal is to ensure that all teams are equipped with interoperable and reliable equipment, enabling both joint operations and individual deployments. A key component of the project is the procurement of equipment and supporting infrastructure necessary to make the capacities operational. This includes not only medical equipment, but also a wide range of related items such as logistics, communication, and technical support systems. The procurement is carried out jointly by the participating countries, with the goal of ensuring harmonisation, cost-efficiency, and maximum interoperability. The procurement procedures are carried out on the Mercell Tendering Platform based on the Dynamic Purchaseing Procdure (DPS).  Interested economic operators are invited to submitt their electronic applications for the relevant categories during the duration of the Dynamic Purchasing System. The contracting authority (Johanniter) may extend the duration of the Dynamic Purchasing System for 6 month. The full compliance with the procedure conditions is required. Das UKD wird in den nächsten Jahren SAP R/3 ablösen. Zur Sicherstellung des Betriebs, Freistellung notwendiger interner Ressourcen für die SAP S/4HANA Implementierung und Bündelung der heutigen externen Ressourcen sucht die UKD einen Partner, der das heutige SAP R/3 System im Betrieb und bei den noch laufen Projekten unterstützt. Die Unterstützung soll aufrechterhalten werden, bis das heutige SAP R/3-System durch SAP S/4HANA ersetzt wird.

For decades, Plateau, Kaduna, and Taraba States in Nigeria have been plagued by violent conflicts between semi-nomadic herders and farmers over land disputes. These conflicts have escalated in frequency and severity in recent times. The intensifying conflicts have severely disrupted critical infrastructure, including water, power supply, and agricultural systems, which are vital to local livelihoods. Environmental challenges such as deforestation, drought, desertification, and climate change, have further strained the availability of grazing and arable land, reducing agricultural yields and limiting income-generation opportunities. Traditional mediation mechanisms that once supported conflict resolution are increasingly ineffective, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive approaches to restore trust, reduce violence, and improve livelihoods across these regions. In response, the Programme "PEACECORE II - Strengthening Capacities for Conflict Transformation and Livelihood for Groups in Vulnerable Situations in Nigeria's Central Zone" seeks to strengthen the peaceful and inclusive coexistence between arable farmers and livestock breeders with regard to the non-violent and gender-equitable transformation of conflicts as well as the sustainable safeguarding of the livelihoods of women and groups in vulnerable groups. The Programme adopts an integrated approach focused on conflict transformation, economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability to achieve lasting peace in Plateau, Kaduna and Taraba States. It emphasizes a participatory and inclusive approach, ensuring impacts are locally driven, context-specific, sustainable, and long-lasting. PEACECORE II is funded by the German Federal Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to the value of 15 Mio. EUR, and is implemented by GIZ over a period of four years (11/2023-11/2027). It has three main areas of action/fields of actions: - Strengthening capacities of governmental actors in Plateau, Taraba and Kaduna States to de-escalate conflict between farmers and cattle herders over resources (Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation) - Addressing the interrelation of peaceful coexistence and economic empowerment among selected target group focusing on food security and livelihood initiatives (Food Security and Livelihoods). - Implementing infrastructure and rehabilitation measures to strengthen peaceful coexistence, social and cultural exchange, and dialogue between conflicting groups (Infrastructure). These areas contribute to the two Fields of Action of the Programme, namely Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation (PB-CT), and Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL).

Commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the project "Strengthening Good Governance in Sudan" will run from May 2024 to April 2028. Its activities cover both Sudan and the Sudanese diaspora in the neighbouring countries. Two years after the outbreak of war between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Sudan is facing one of the most severe political and humanitarian crises of the decade. The ongoing conflict has caused mass displacement affecting millions of people and triggered famine conditions in several regions. Reports of human rights violations continue to rise, adding to the insecurity and mistrust among communities. In this volatile context, civil society organisations (CSOs) have emerged as crucial actors. Both in Sudan and within the diaspora, they deliver life-saving humanitarian assistance, mediate in local disputes, promote civic participation, and work to preserve social cohesion. However, despite their dedication and deep local knowledge, many CSOs lack the organisational structures, technical expertise, and psychosocial resilience to operate effectively under such extreme conditions. The project aims to ensure that, by 2028, democracy-oriented CSOs in Sudan and abroad have significantly strengthened their organisational capacity, public visibility, and political influence, positioning them as central voices in shaping an inclusive and peaceful future for Sudan. A particular focus is placed on empowering organisations led by women, youth, and other structurally marginalised groups, ensuring that their perspectives and needs are meaningfully represented. The approach combines four mutually reinforcing components: 1. Capacity Development: Selected CSOs receive tailored organisational development support and staff training. Training modules include peacebuilding methodologies, inclusive leadership, project cycle management, security risk assessment and mitigation, and resilience-building through Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS). This support equips organisations not only with technical skills but also with the psychological resilience to sustain their work in high-stress environments. 2. Financial Support: Through the Qudra Fund, the project provides grants to local Sudanese CSOs and initiatives that directly contribute to peace and inclusive development. Funded activities address urgent needs such as countering hate speech and disinformation, advancing women"s empowerment, facilitating local conflict resolution, and delivering civic education. Grant recipients also benefit from the project"s broader capacity building and networking activities, creating a comprehensive support ecosystem. 3. Networking and Cooperation: The project supports safe, inclusive spaces for Sudanese civil society actors to connect, exchange experiences, and develop joint strategies. By fostering dialogue and cooperation, it strengthens collective advocacy efforts and builds cross-regional and cross-sector alliances, which are essential for promoting peaceful and inclusive governance. 4. Analysis & Risk Management: An internal Analysis & Risk Unit continuously monitors the political, regional, and local context, ensuring that all project interventions are conflict-sensitive and adaptable. The unit supports both the project team and partners with up-to-date risk analyses and technical advice, particularly in security risk management, enabling informed decision-making in rapidly changing circumstances. By combining targeted capacity building, direct financial support, networking opportunities, and robust risk management, the project strengthens the resilience, reach, and influence of Sudanese CSOs. This integrated approach enables them to operate effectively despite instability, advocate for inclusive governance, and play a leading role in building the foundations for a peaceful, democratic, and socially cohesive Sudan.

Die BGHM ist berechtigt, aber nicht verpflichtet für weitere Unfallversicherungsträger Abrufe aus der Rahmenvereinbarung zu generieren Die Erreichbarkeit des Softwareherstellers/Supports sollte wie folgt gewährleistet sein: Montag – Donnerstag: 08:00 Uhr – 16:00 Uhr Freitag: 08:00 Uhr – 15:00 Uhr In Absprache mit der Auftraggeberin können für die Fehlerbehebung durch den Auftragnehmer alternative Administrationstools (z.B. TeamViewer) zum Einsatz kommen. Der Auftraggeberin, bzw. der Abrufberechtigten dürfen hierfür keine zusätzlichen Kosten in Rechnung gestellt werden. Die Infrastruktur der Auftraggeberin, bzw. der Abrufberechtigten besteht aus einem virtuellen Windowsserver, über den die Software für die Anwender bereitgestellt wird. Diese virtuellen Server basieren auf einer Hyper-V Umgebung. Die Bereitstellung der Software erfolgt über eine Citrix Freigabe.
